Liverpool is home to TeamSport Karting, an indoor go-karting course. The karts can go up to 40mph as you skirt around the UK’s best indoor circuit. And it’s only a ten-minute drive from Liverpool One. Get over there, burn some rubber, snag the medal, and prove once and for all you’re the better driver.

It’s never too late to expand your mind! Have a stroll around the World Museum, home to the natural history, world cultures, antiques, and physical science collections. Learn, chat, discuss what you see, and maybe stop by the café for a hot drink. It’s a great way to learn more about each other, even if you think you already know everything there is to know about your significant other, and it’s a peaceful way to spend the day.
