Funk The Family festival is back in 2017 and will land at Hove Park, Brighton on Fathers day - Sunday 18th June. The festival celebrates soul, funk, hip hop, latin, disco, ska and reggae inside its Club Tropicana and Cirque Du Funk Big Top tents.
In only 3 years Funk The Family's attendance has grown five times in size, attributed to the combination of great DJs, live music and a family orientated experience.
With a theme for 2017 of mythical creatures, expect to see all manner of little monsters getting down to glorious grooves at the all dayer whilst also enjoying circus shows, sports skills and interactive music zones.
For the grown ups there's craft ales, a wide range of food stalls and of course the chance to roll back the years with a killer funk focused soundtrack - the likes of Soul II Soul, Norman Jay, Omar and more all previously performing at Funk The Family.
