Bringing grooves galore to Brighton's Hove Park on Saturday 17th June is Funk The Format, following a highly successful inaugural edition in 2016.
Already confirmed for the festival is British soul songstress Alice Russell, who conquered Glastonbury last year and is reportedly working on new music, in time to debut at a busy summer for the singer. She's joined on the Funk The Format 2017 line up by Notting Hill sound-system supremo Norman Jay MBE as well as Rodney P & Skitz, Neon Saints Brass Band, Darrison and more.
As well as great music, the festival also hones in on a wide range of entertainment, including a mythical creatures fancy dress theme, as well as delicious, locally sourced food and drink. Its sister festival, Funk the Family takes place the following day, Sunday 18th June, which is coincidentally Father's Day, and is into its fourth year this summer.
