Manchesters longest running weekly club night Funkademia comes of age and gives away complimentary tickets to their New Years Eve party
Tickets were released and went in just over 30 minutes so another roadblock New Years Eve session is guaranteed. The next batch of 300 tickets are on sale via Skiddle priced at just £5 and include a free drink. Over half of these have been sold already and once they are gone that's a full house guaranteed!
The Mint Lounge doors will open at 10pm and they will go through til at least 4am in 2015. The Good for the Soul DJs and their Northern Funk brother DJ Myk Nolan will be leading on the decks and they will ensure you a proper big hands in the air countdown at midnight.
Funkademia has been running weekly parties in Manchester since 1995 and celebrated their 19th birthday this year and are crowned as Manchesters longest weekly running club night. A heavy mix of Funk, Soul, Disco, House, RnB and Hip Hop from the past four decades provided by the resident DJ collective keep the clued up crowd grooving each week.
