GLOSS brings Manchester Pride afterparty to Hidden

New QTIPoC-led event GLOSS takes over Hidden after Manchester Pride which falls on the August bank holiday weekend.

Date published: 15th Aug 2024

GLOSS comes to Manchester’s Hidden on Sunday 25th August 2024 AKA the August bank holiday weekend AKA Manchester Pride Weekend. Bringing reggaeton, club, dembow, and bass, it's going to be brill.

GLOSS is a QTIPoC-led event brand that champions QTIPoC and PoC ally talent. Following Manchester’s Pride, they’ll be taking over Hidden, one of the best clubs in Manchester, with their “OFF PRIDE”, a night of reggaeton, club, dembrow, and bass sounds.

For this one, which sees them return after an incredible debut, they're bringing along a lineup of GLOSS residents and more including Manuka Honey, Zaleel, Charms, Atalaya, Baby B, SHERI, and tyronwithnoe.

GLOSS was formed as the founders became sick of seeing “one tokenistic booking of QTIPoC and or POC folk on a lineup”. Explaining they “want people to come and hear music rooted in their culture played by people that look like them and share similar experiences”, it seems about time GLOSS came along.

All GLOSS events are ally-friendly so long as those allies are “aware of the space they are coming into.”

Tickets for GLOSS’ post-Pride takeover are on sale now. Secure yours, including discounted QTIPOC tickets, now towards the bottom of this page.
