It's been revealed that Pusha T, one half of Clipse and easily one of best rappers of the twenty first century, will be bossing things at the label he is signed to, Kanye West's domineering G.O.O.D Music.
The emcee announced the news during an interview with Billboard, revealing Kanye has asked him during a phone conversation to make the imprint more profitable:
"He was basically just like, to manicure the label, make it profitable and be very business-oriented about it going forward in a manicured type of way."
The label has been in operation for 11 years, having launched initially in collaboration with Sony AMG but been a subsidiary of of Def Jam since 2011. It's released albums from the likes of Big Sean, Common, John Legend and of course Pusha, as well as the compilation Cruel Summer (listen to the Pusha featuring 'Mercy' off that above).
