Garage Nation show no signs of slowing down, despite 20 years on the scene presenting some of the genre's biggest line ups, their regular events are as popular as ever. Carrying on the momentum from their huge February events, we've taken a look ahead to what they're offering across the country throughout March with some of the garage's most influential figureheads.
Kicking off the proceedings on Friday 6th at Wonderworld Milton Keynes are Artful Dodger. The pair are responsible for some of the genre's defining songs including 'Re-rewind' with Craig David and 'Movin' Too Fast' and their live performances prove why they are still as relevant to the garage scene as much today as they were in the noughties.
The following day Garage Nation take over The Hub in Plymouth with crowd favourites DJ Luck and MC Neat sitting at the top of the bill. The twosome made it big time with their classic 'A Little Bit Of Luck' (listen above), expect a night filled with blasts from the pasts from one of the UK's first recognised garage acts.
The duo headline another event on Friday 13th Garage Nation stops off at O2 Academy Leeds. Joining them is Matt Jam Lamont (who we spoke to last week about his favourite Jam productions, read that here) and Royal T.
Fast forward to Friday 27th March and the illustrious DJ EZ (check him out in action above) takes centre stage at Exeter Phoenix and The Attic in Torquay. Regarded as a living legend, EZ paved the way for the genre's development and continues to proudly fly the flag for UK garage at events around the world (read our DJ EZ Love Affair feature here).
The last Garage Nation event of the month takes place at O2 Academy Bristol on Saturday 28th, the line up for this is yet to be announced. For more on Garage Nation including the full line ups and tickets, head here.
