Seeking out some of the country’s most intimate venues for his latest venture, George Fitzgerald will embark on his Hiding Places UK tour this month, beginning in Brighton on the 19th May, before heading through to the north of England and Scotland, visiting Liverpool, Edinburgh and Manchester, and finishing in Birmingham at the start of June.
Witnessing the evolution of dance music during the mid-2000s whilst working at Black Market Records shop in London, it wasn’t until 2010 that British-born Fitzgerald began to release his own productions after a move to Berlin, where his contribution to the house music scene revitalised the genre.
As well as many successful EP releases, including ‘Child’ and ‘Fading Love’, Fitzgerald has also played a key part in BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix series before signing to with Domino sublabel Double Six Recordings.
