If Christmas isn't quite enough to get you into the festive spirit ahead of one of the biggest partying holidays of the year, then look no further than Steve Lawler arriving at Middlesbrough's Arena on Friday 19th December.
One of the great conquerors of British dance music, Steve Lawler remains one of the planet's all star selectors, revered for his instilled used of drums to tantalise crowds at the biggest clubs in the world with his progressive output anchored somewhere in the tribal house spectrum.
The VIVa music head honcho is no stranger to heading up parties at clubbing superpowers, having earned his stripes at Cream Ibiza followed by an Ibiza residency at Space, with a notable abode at New York's Twilo for good measure.
Lauded for its ethos shaped around breaking serious talent, his label has featured music from Jamie Jones through to Davide Squillace, whilst Lawler himself has music released on Drumcode, Bedrock and Cocoon, with the likes of 'Rise In' (above) drawing attention to his immense production skills that go hand in hand with his ability to bowl over any dancefloor. Tickets for that here.
