Blending quirky electronic loops and funky riffs with a monologue of rich and dulcet tones, Coventry music maker Obaro Ejimiwe, better known by his Ghostpoet alias, brings his sound to cities across the UK this winter.
After a short hiatus from releasing music while concentrating on live performances and writing, Ejimiwe has announced the first new material in two years. His spangling new single 'Immigrant Boogie' offers a gritty narrative of the struggles of refugees. Combining these politically charged words with an earth-shattering bassline and his usual smooth-spoken delivery, he manages to create a stunning and warm welcomed return.
