Gibb St Warehouse is back. This autumn the Digbeth based clubbing space returns with a flurry of exciting clubnights in the bare brick Birmingham venue.

The opening weekend sees them kick off with the two predominant brands of the clubnight handling duties, with Arkitekt on Friday 12th October and Renaissance pulling in the Saturday shenanigans one day later on the 13th.
Arkitekt has Italian firebrand Marco Carola headlining; the Neapolitan techno sensation playing an extended four hour set. Marco’s Music On night has become on the most talked about parties in Ibiza, transforming Friday nights at Amnesia, and his brutal and often uncompromising take on house and techno remains a massive international draw.
Joining him on the night will be will be a smattering of cosmopolitan genius, with Spanish connoisseur Damian Schwartz and Gallic groove merchant D’Julz completing a rather stylishly put together bill. There are some more names due to be announced soon for the second room but as opening parties go, it’s a pretty mouth watering ensemble.
The fun doesn’t stop there either; one day later Renaissance returns to Gibb St for the second instalment of their twentieth birthday in Birmingham. With Sasha manning the controls last time the only option for this soiree was John Digweed, and lo and behold here he is.
Joining him will be Berlin ex-pat and Rekids head honcho Radio Slave alongside Swiss techno selector du jour Deetron. We’ve also had a chat with Renaissance founder Geoff Oakes which will drop sometime next week.
Looking into the distant future though and there’s a third party, an absolute cracker with Desolat. Label honcho Loco Dice is parlaying alongside three of his most trusted side-kicks, tiNI, Guti and Hector, for a show which is sure to be snapped up very quickly. That’s on Friday 16th November but don’t expect tickets to be around forever!
