If you haven't already noticed, 2015 has been a golden year for British rap music so far. Giggs has been heavily involved in that, so it'll come as great news that he's set to appear at Halo, Peterborough on Friday 27th March and The Engine Shed, Lincoln on Saturday 18th April.
Coming out of South London's back yard, Giggs has been prolific in the scene since his early mixtapes and revered freestyle 'Talking The Hardest'. They hit the scene way before his debut album in 2008, highlighting his long standing influence on the genre.
That album, Walk In Da Park, signalled his undisputed talents when handed a microphone and was received with critical acclaim. The success of that drop quickly prompted heavyweight label XL Recordings to his unparalleled wordplay and he was subsequently snapped up.
Since then, the London MC backed his debut release with two more albums, each building on the success of the first. Flexing hits like 'Look What The Cat Dragged In' and 'Monsta Man' (above), we suspect the lyrical don will also spark contentment with his immense freestyle ability and plenty of new material.
