Following on from GlobalGathering's first wave of announcements on Friday 28th February, the supreme dance music festival returns to unveil even more DJs and live acts on an increasingly monumental bill.
The likes of drum n bass crossover giants Chase & Status, all conquering EDM hero David Guetta, world beating Swede Sub Focus will be some of the huge names at the centre of attention, as will Detroit house veteran MK, LA based progressive powerhouse Eric Prydz and electronic deep house heroine Maya Jane Coles.
With well over one hundred new acts announced to grace Long Marston Airfield on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th July - it's well worth checking out the full list of names here.
In addition to who's playing, the arena run down has also been revealed, with the likes of the BBC Radio One's Essential Mix, Jamie Jones' Paradise, Drum & Bass institution Hospitality, house music legends Defected, trance stalwarts Godskitchen and Liverpool's irrepressible Circus all among the clubnights, labels and bastions of electronic music helming tents, stages and arenas at the festival.
Since starting in 2001 on a smaller but no less charming scale (check out sepia tinted memory of that here) Global has become one of the most renowned and celebrated of the UK festivals, a permanent fixture on the agenda of any self respecting acolyte of the rave. The production levels remain off the chain (peep the behind the scenes video before for an inside look at what makes it tick), and as this line up reveals, it's a festival which has an enduring ability to attract the world's finest.
