Birmingham's multi-faceted Rainbow Venues will play host to M*A*D*E, a unique combination of world-class dance music, monolithic headliners, exclusive art displays and the very best in street food. In charge of the music comes some of the most respected clubbing brands in the country, including bass music specialists UKF, Steve Lawler's dark house empire VIVa Warriors, Spectrum, Rainbow Venues very own FACE, Seedy Sonics and 2:31.
With the event utilising The Rainbow venue many charismatic spaces including 'the outdoor arena, Rainbow Warehouse, The Rainbow Garden and the adjoining street that stretches underneath 18th century viaducts' M*A*D*E will 'showcase the second city’s reputation as a groundbreaking, innovative and diverse creative hub' by 'working alongside key partners and artists with roots and association in Birmingham'.
Saturday 3rd May daytime sees UKF take over the arena, with headline slots from the mighty Chase & Status (above), Netsky, Camo & Krooked, Kove, and Breakage amongst a load more. Spectrum take over for night duties, with Feed Me, Meridian Dan, Lets Be Friends and deck wizard Jaguar Skills providing a killer close to the first day's proceedings.
Homegrown after party experts 2:31 kick off Sunday's daytime shenanigans, with Radio One's Annie Mac (above) taking centre stage, joined by deep house aficionado MK, jack of all trades Redlight and Bondax. Sunday night sees Rainbow Venues' street area taken over by Steve Lawler and Matthias Tanzmann, Whilst FACE takeover the Warehouse with Hot Since 82 and BareSkin under the limelight.
The Garden will see Mak & Pasteman, Tom Shorterz and Cause & Effect bring to a close one of Birmingham's most exciting and ambitious underground events to date.
