Gold Teeth's forages into Sheffield will see them put on a series of Warehouse Parties in the city over the next six months, raiding a wide variety of eclectic musical influences. The first sees them indulging the housier end of that palette, with two master craftsman of Jack's alluring groove manning their rave ship.
Headlining will be Norn Iron genre bender Ejeca, a man with a vision of house music based gloriously on blurring the definition of what it can encapsulate. based outside Belfast, His tracks have flirted with everything from the swing of garage to bleepy, warehouse designed techno, as well as warm disco infused moods.
Releasing on the likes of AUS, Tusk Wax, 2020 Vision, Future Classic and Needwant, his DJ sets remain just as intuitive, particularly with his keen ear for a hook - check out his rework of Stardust's 'Music Sounds Better with You' above as evidence of that coming out in his productions.
Joining him will be East Midlands deep house don Citizen (who we spoke to late last year). Another producer heavily aware of the joy of permeating his beats with other influences, his productions for Kerri Chandler's record label MADTech have caught plenty of heat whilst his DJ sets are a joy to behold, as evidenced by his recent Boiler Room set below.
The event will be held at Dirty Little Secret (DLS) on Friday 7th February, and constitute a seven hour tour de force into the early hours of the weekend. Earlybirds have already gone, but you can secure the remaining standard tickets by heading here.
