One of the biggest trance and hard dance clubbing brands, Goodgreef has partnered up with Promise to host a reunion of epic proportions in Newcastle’s most popular dance music venue, Digital on Friday 27th June. Back by popular demand after last year’s soiree, they have added a boat pre party for those who want to hit the quayside before the main event.
Christened as “the Fabric of the North” and crowned the UK’s No. 1 Large Club by DJ Mag, Digital has throughout the years respected the history of dance music, reflected in their choice of artists playing at the club. Old and new faces will be partying up North as they take a trip down memory lane for the reunion.
Goodgreef and Promise will be hosting the main room and each artist will be mixing tons of throw back tunes, guaranteed to get everyone reminiscing. M.I.K.E Push will be headlining and is set to play a classics set (c heck out his above mix tunneling through the past for an indication of what to expect).
He’s responsible for some of the most iconic tunes in trance, most memorably the epochal 'Strange World' and Universal Nation' as Push, as well as behind the Bonzai imprint which is still discussed in hushed tones by trance fans.
Northern Irish trance heroes Agnelli & Nelson will also star, with Richard Tulip delivering a Promise classics set and Gary Proud tunneling through the greatest nits of Paul Van Dyk's record label Vandit.
Room Two will be hosted by Always and will feature the legendary John Kelly playing a house classics set. Liverpool based Kelly has spent the last two decades headlining all the major clubs in country, including high profile residencies at Manumission and Ministry of Sound.
He’s been at the centre of house music’s development, having played at the first illegal raves and then going on to become a Cream favourite, and remains one of the best to peer back into yesteryear. Mark Deakin, Oli Carloni and more will join him, head here for tickets.
