Live in the Mixmag DJ Lab from 4pm today is the don of warped house and techno, Green Velvet. The bastion of chi town weirdness has been bringing the funk to our dancefloors for over 20 years, first getting us all in a twist with a tune about coffee making machines with the caffeine rush of 'Percolator'.
Add lavish lyrical nods to pills taking us to 'La La Land', flashing cameras for nitrous oxide and this year's smash about walking round like 'You're bigger than prince', and we're talking about a bonafide hitmaker. And, as I'm sure the video above is testifying, one hell of a DJ. He plays Egg London tonight.
