Guillemots and Young Knives are set to join a host of other acts including indie rock quintet Cherry Ghost, Manchester’s own Badly Drawn Boy, The Waterboys, sixties veterans The Animals and Stax Record’s and Booker T and the MG’s Steve Cropper.

The festival also boasts an impressive array of blues, folk and roots acts with Capercaille, Mike McGoldrick, and Kristy Almeida and the Troubadours also confirmed for a day of guitar strumming and bluesy melodies.

Festival goers can also enjoy a cornucopia of foodie delights as well as delicious real ales from local brewers Outstanding who are already underway with experiments to create an exclusive festival beer. There will also be the finest in locally produced food on offer within the idyllic setting of the Ramsbottom Cricket Club.

With a host of bands to be announced over the coming weeks in addition to an array of other pleasures, stay tuned to find out more about the line-up for 2011’s most exciting new festival.
