Following a trio of sold Manchester parties celebrating the 30th Anniversary of FAC 51, The Hacienda returns to Sankeys for on December 27th for 'Hacienda 30 : The Christmas Party'.
Hacienda legend Graeme Park will take sole charge of Sankeys downstairs dancefloor, inviting clubbers to join him on a unique and exclusive seven hour set through three decades of house music.
Speaking about the event, Graeme said “ I'm extremely excited because with a whole seven hours to fill I'll be able to span the whole period of my Haçienda residency and play a real variety of genres too. As well as all the usual big, timeless classics expect a few forgotten gems and some surprises too.
"There's a wealth of great music out there and I plan to dig deep and entertain while taking everyone on a journey that covers a lot more than 30 years of The Haçienda. I can think of no better way to end a magnificent year of Haçienda 30 celebrations.”
Playing upstairs in Sankeys’ second room Spektrum is Marshall Jefferson, one of the pioneers of the development of Chicago House Music. Joining Marshall are DJs from the early Manchester scene, Russ - who for many years ran Manchester Underground records and was resident at The Hacienda’s Shine night in the early Nineties - and DJ Nipper, himself a veteran of Eastern Bloc records and numerous classic early gigs.
Tickets are on sale now, priced at £15. This event is expected to be another sell out, so get your tickets early.
