To celebrate 9 amazing years of Halo on Saturday 15th of March 2008, we proudly present the first of 2 very special events to mark our 9th Birthday. The first will be held at Sosho in Shoreditch with techno in all its shades in the main room and a journey through underground house in room two. 

 

Although our parties usually unite all sections of our membership base under one roof, such as our previous 2 and a half year residency at the Cross, the idea here is to host 3 intimate events that are more tailored to specific sections of our crowd all across London. With this in mind, this party definitely caters for our Shoreditch and east London based crowd so you can expect a proper underground affair! As it’s our birthday there are no big name bookings, just the DJs that represent the driving force and soul of all our night...our residents. These are the guys that have helped us build one of the most successful club nights in London and helped us get to where we are today, so it would be wrong to do it any other way. Not only does this keep things nice and personal but the line up is intended as an orchestrated statement to clearly define our musical direction for 2008. Whether you come to every party we throw or its your first time, this party represents the perfect example of what we are all about so make sure you don't miss out!

As part of our 9th Birthday celebrations, Halo return to Lost Society on Thursday the 20th of March for a full scale funk attack on Clapham. To celebrate this historic milestone we will be staging two very special events to cater for different sections of our crowd. The first will be at Sosho on Saturday 15th of March, and will showcase the very best in minimal, techno and all things underground. The second, and the subject of this press release will be held at Lost Society and features the very best house music and soulful treats from Goodtimes residents Loud Minority and DJ Mag Millennium DJ Comp 1st Place winner Jason Sears. As it's our birthday we wanted to repay our nearest and dearest with two very intimate parties, tailored to their exact tastes rather than jump straight back into a 1000 + capacity venue. Last year was our best year ever with our residency at the Cross gaining critical acclaim, our awesome stage at TDK and our underground parties at The Miami WMC to name a few highlights. Before we announce our new and very exciting flagship night, it's refreshing for a very brief moment to host these smaller but uber cool events and party just like the old days. As its good Friday the day after, you can expect the usual Halo bank holiday madness and shenanigans...you have been warned.

For anyone who hasn't had the pleasure of sampling this awesome liqueur-make sure you get down early and fill ya boots! We absolutely love this stuff and it has quickly become the drink of choice down at Halo HQ with all of our staff (outside office hours of course) and many of our members too! Watch out for Senior Agwa on the night dishing out free shots!!!
