Multi-instrumentalist Hannah Peel is the first act to be announced for Threshold in Liverpool. The festival celebrates musicians and artists at grassroots level and will take place between Friday 31st March and Sunday 2nd April.
Peel released her latest album Awake But Always Dreaming earlier in 2016 and was commended for her originality as well as her desire to tackle the subject of dementia with the theme of memory a well-visited subject throughout.
The Northern Irish singer-songwriter packs in pop charm with electronic undertones to great effect on what is her third full length release. 'All That Matters' (below) testifies to that perfectly with Peel's ethereal backing vocals and blurred synths laying the foundations for her stunning voice to cut through.
The seventh edition of Threshold will once again return to Liverpool's industrial Baltic Triangle, however it will take place at the Cain's Brewery site for the first time at the 2017 event. (Check out the full Threshold 2017 line up here)
This follows a 10 year deal launched in July that will see the disused warehouse space converted into venues and galleries for budding artists and musicians. You can secure your Threshold festival 2017 tickets via the box below.
