Hed Kandi and Sony to provide a virtual rave

The internationally renowned clubbing brand will be teaming up with Sony Entertainment Network to stream the forthcoming ‘Once Upon a Time in Ibiza’ event in Ibiza, creating a fully interactive virtual rave. It starts on the afternoon of11^th September, running until the end of the month.

The event has been held at Es Paradis, San Antonio de Portmany, Ibiza, every Saturday night throughout the summer, featuring leading Hed Kandi Resident DJ’s Carl Hanaghan, Sarah Louise, Ben Santiago and performers Lovely Laura (Saxaphone) and Dean Oram (Percussion). Sony Entertainment Network will broadcast the event on PlayStation Home as a fully-interactive ‘virtual rave’, where they say they will be “featuring free and exclusive content, customisable avatars and virtual merchandising”. Basically it’s a Sim City for clubs.
