Showcasing the work of Manchester-based designer and illustrator, Harrison Edwards, the weekend-long event will see the Old Naval Yard in Ancoats transformed into a gallery, party spot and eatery

The final preparations for the launch of Manchester-based designer, Harrison Edwards' solo exhibition, 'Hello Old Friend', are most certainly underway, ahead of the two-day spectacle happening this weekend - running over Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th of September.
The event, in collaboration with premium Pilsner producers, Heverlee Beer, will see the Old Naval Yard in the up-and-coming Ancoats district of the city transformed into a gallery, eatery and party spot, with some of the area's most favoured vendors and infamous party instigators on hand to see the celebration goes accordingly.
Showcasing some of the artist's most recent paintings, in addition to a live mural painting, guests should also expect to find live entertainment courtesy of Manchester’s Left, Right & Centre collective, delivering the finest cuts in reggae and garage right through to techno and bass in the evening, and long-running party crew, Community, supplying dance music culture from all over the world. Be sure to check out sets from resident DJs Robasca, Bhavana and Mercutio, serving up a soundtrack stocked with the best in soul, jazz, house and disco.
With regards to refreshments, neighbourhood cocktail bar, The Jane Eyre will be in attendance, conjuring up a selection of their most tastebud-tantalising signature cocktails whilst the Neon Tiger team cook up a feast of rural Thai BBQ, inspired by the North Eastern regions of the Asian nation.
The exhibition will run from 12 pm until 11 pm on both days with those who choose to attend receiving a complimentary Heverlee Pilsner lager upon arrival. Tickets to this exciting event are free and can be acquired now at the bottom of this page.
