As we take our first steps into 2025, there’s a lot to look forward to, whether it be the array of up-and-coming bands and DJs or the slew of great music on the horizon. We’ve already given our thoughts on some underrated festivals, but it wouldn’t feel right without giving a shout-out to the litany of amazing venues that usually slip through the cracks.
For every Fabric and Depot Mayfield there’s a genre-bending, creative, and inclusive club ready to be discovered and adored. From cornerstones of culture to vibrant community hubs, clubs have been the beating heart of UK nightlife for decades, and hopefully 2025 is no different with these hidden gems.

Where: 3 Symphony Park, Manchester M1 7FS
A simultaneously forward-thinking and retro manifesto lies at the heart of Amber’s. This brand new secretive Mancunian haunt caters to creative minds with its no-phones policy and unannounced lineups of outstanding house talent.
Manchester’s rich musical history is in safe hands at Amber’s thanks to its selection of carefully curated live and club events showcasing the very best live music and underground electronic talent. Music fanatics will be right at home here, and there’s no better place to uncover the next big thing in 2025 than at Amber’s.
Located on Oxford Road, the new club's first season began in December 2024 and will run until March 2025, collaborating with the city’s finest venues and club brands along the way. Plus, Saturday nights feature top draw DJs who remain unannounced until the moment they step on stage and are priced at just £5, so you still have time to snatch a ticket to their next memorable night.

A taxi rank in a past life, Meraki lives on as an intimate, vibrant venue within the stacked roster of Liverpool clubs. Situated amongst derelict warehouses in Liverpool’s North Docks, the small gem of a venue is a bit off the beaten track, but once you’re there you can revel in its multi-genre nights featuring infectious house, techno, jungle, drum and bass, and more. The club area isn’t all it offers, as up to 500 lucky club-goers can fit into its luscious green garden perfect for open air events.
Lovingly crafted by a passionate crew, Meraki deserves all the love it gets in the Merseyside nightlife scene, and if you ever find yourself wishing for a space more intimate than the likes of Blackstone Street Warehouse, Meraki more than makes up for it.

Apt for its name, Colour Factory is a beaming beacon of culture nestled in the heart of Hackney Wick. This often underrated London gem - dwarfed in popularity by the likes of Fabric and Drumsheds - has many faces, either as a nightclub, live music venue, food court, or multi-functional events space.
Its club regularly welcomes world-class DJs and producers, all while being a true bright spot of one of the country’s buzziest neighbourhoods. Londoners and visitors alike should get stuck into Colour Factory’s events whenever they can, as this Hackney haunt thrives on creativity and inclusivity like no other venue.

Newly renovated and filled with endless possibilities, take a break from Beaver Works once in a while and get stuck into TESTBED. The Hunslet Lane venue prides itself on immersive electronic music experiences, with its 10,000 sq foot space offering a blank canvas for all kinds of unique nights.
A fresh new face in Leeds’ extensive catalogue of rave caves, TESTBED is the place to experience smoky sessions with the biggest names in dance. Keep this one in mind when in West Yorkshire, it could end up being your new favourite UK club.

The Steel City can claim to be the origin of many things from football to bassline, and its buzzing nightlife scene is heavily intertwined with its industrial past. Of the numerous Sheffield warehouses and industrial works that have been transformed into rave havens, Dryad Works might just be the one to take the city’s nightlife crown once Hope Works sadly closes its doors.
Dryad Works is the brainchild of an underground house music collective all striving to provide a place for fresh, exciting sound systems. The ‘Home on the Hill’ stands alongside Yellow Arch Studios as a standout in the city’s thriving Neepsend area, helping to drive the city’s rich musical history forward while keeping its industrial past alive.

Manchester is stuffed with underrated nightlife gems across all corners of the city, but one we’re giving a shout-out to is The Progress Centre. An earshot from Mayfield Park and separated from it by the Manucian Way, Progress is an open air club primed for throwing vibrant and atmospheric events you can’t help but two-step to.
Summertime is where Progress Centre shines, but no matter the weather, its three stages and 5000-person capacity make it a must for clubbers, ravers, and anyone looking for a place to make some memories.

The most exciting venue to be found in the Welsh capital, DEPOT is an eclectic, flexible events space with a booming club area. Their brand Shangri-La is always reliable for bringing the biggest and best Welsh talent to Cardiff, and the long-running club night boasts an unbelievable calendar filled with unmissable nights from acclaimed dance music auteurs.

A local favourite for both students and rave heads, SUKi10C is a grassroots gem at the heart of Birmingham's booming Digbeth district. For any Brummies or visitors hoping to get stuck into some quality dance events, SUKi10C is the place to be, as 2025 sees the graffiti-laden paradise put on exclusive livestream sessions with Uncapped Radio every Wednesday, among plenty of techno, drum and bass, and house events to stick your gun fingers in the sky to.

Keep this one noted throughout the year as this quality Bristolian club has a slew of pop-up raves and live music offerings to keep any music aficionado satisfied, and lays claim to being one of the coolest and most immersive venues anywhere in the UK to boot.
You’d struggle to run out of brilliant Bristol nightlife, but we think Clock Factory is right up there. Whether it’s the atmospheric, state of the art lighting or the smattering of events up its sleeve, Clock Factory won’t leave you looking at your watch.
