Mixing rhythms from world music influences and blending elements of jazz, soul and hip hop, Akua Naru's original sound comes to cities across the UK as she embarks on a tour. Naru's powerful and poetic lyricism tells stories of historical narratives and centralises her personal experiences of being a black woman within her music.
