American recording artist, producer, and actress Angie Stone is set to visit the UK this summer, bring her immense back catalogue of jams to the UK later this year with summer shows at London's Roundhouse on Friday 6th July and Manchester's O2 Ritz on Saturday 7th July.
Stone rose to fame in the late 1970s as member of the hip hop trio The Sequence before working with futuristic rap group Mantronix, singer Lenny Kravitz and as part of R&B trio Vertical Hold.
In 1999, Stone released her gold certified solo debut album Black Diamond on Arista Records which spawned the R&B single 'No More Rain (In This Cloud)', while its follow up Mahogny Soul was the record which featured club anthem 'Wish I Didn't Miss You' - the last track spun by Carl Cox at his enormous Space Ibiza closing set.
