Hivve welcome house dons Alexkid and Archie Hamilton to one of Birmingham's Rainbow Venues, Next Door, on Friday 5th September.
The world famous Rainbow Venues are made up of an array of spectacular spaces designed with music events in mind. Next Door is one of the newer clubs and is located beside Spotlight. Although the venue features some classic, industrial-style details, the focal point is on the impressive 3D cubic projection which allow them to showcase state of the art visuals.
Headlining the event is Alexkid. He's an artist who has become renowned for his production technique and his near obsessive relationship with machines. A respected sound engineer and multi-instrumentalist, Alexkid has released critically acclaimed albums on Laurent Garnier's label, fully flaunting his skills when it comes to making music.
With massive remixes and releases on Desolat, Cadenza and Rekids under his belt, Alexkid continues to add chapters to his musical life, progressing strongly with every page. His sound is timeless, and his drive to reach perfection results in an unbelievable performance in every single one of his sets.
Also playing at Hivve is Archie Hamilton. The London based DJ and producer has had releases on some of the most respected underground labels including Fear of Flying and his own imprint, Moscow Records. He's received strong support from Marco Carola and Robert Dietz and is a regular at tINI & The Gang and FUSE.
Support comes from Bunny and Lopaski. Get your tickets here.
