Heavily indebted to the New York club scene during the eighties and nineties, Horse Meat Disco have carved out a reputation as major purveyors of that time in history with their jaw dropping parties. They play at Newcastle's Hoochie Coochie on Friday 16th January and Manchester's Deaf Institute on Friday 30th.
After starting out in London roughly a decade years ago, Horse Meat Disco have set themselves apart as party pioneers with their scintillating shindigs that incorporate the sounds of disco, Italo, funk, house and techno - a true electronic feast for any partygoer to get their teeth stuck into.
Their disco frivolities, tremendously portrayed from their residency at The Eagle above, have garnered them a titanic following hooked on their discerning boogie down values. They encapsulated all of that in their latest compilation Horse Meat Disco Volume 2, a sublime compilation of hip shaking cuts sure to make an appearance on the night.
Tickets for Newcastle, Hoochie Coochie, Friday 16th January can be found here, and for Manchester, Deaf Institute, Friday 30th January here.
