Reggae scene veteran Winston Williams, aka Horseman, is set to step into the spotlight with The Upper Cut, infamous for backing the best in the business. The legends will be bringing their hard-hitting beats and fearsome delivery to District, Liverpool on Friday 30th March.

With a back catalogue dating from the 60’s working alongside some of the biggest names in the reggae – Max Romeo, Little Roy and Prince Fatty to name a few of the elite – Horseman.

Whether he’s taking hold of the mic or drumming up a storm, his unmistakable reggae scat style vocal and huge personality is evident through his ethos: “If my music brings joy into someone’s life then that’s my aim, its there to make people happy. I’m not in competition with anyone, music shouldn’t be competitive, I’m just me doing my thing”

Boasting numerous hits – one being 'Shimmy Shimmy Ya', featured on Breaking Bad – Horseman will be back by The Upper Cut band, equally notorious in the business as reggae heavyweights.
