The champions of ghetto style beats and bass launch a nationwide tour commencing at Sheffield's Hope Works on October 3rd, running through till the 15th of November when it culminates at The Faversham in Leeds.
What started out as 'a melting of maniacal musical minds' has grown to become a formidable music label group, a club night promotional crew, a DJ agency, and a blog, consisting of breaks and bass pioneers Deekline, Jurassik, Mafia Kiss, Rubi Dan, Martin Flex, The Ragga Twins, Hotline Zero and The Dance Off System.
For the uninitiated, the Hot Cakes brand has become famous for its championing of genre spanning, floor focused dance music, with Deekline's latest album alongside Ed Solo taking in elements of booty bass, jungle, soul, breaks, dubstep, drumstep and drum 'n' bass, something he replicates in his full throttle DJ sets (check that out above).
Across the tour, expect the Hot Cakes crew to be joined by the likes of electro turned bass freaks Jack Beats, jungle icon Congo Natty, breaks legends Plump DJs, turntablist A-Skillz and a tonne of others. Check out the full tour dates below.
