Hot Cakes are cooking up a bass induced frenzy on New Year's Eve at London's Bar 512, compromised of an ensemble of major figures at the forefront of the bass, breaks and garage scenes.
Stepping in at the front of the queue is Evil Nine - two genre hopping veterans known to dish up anything from hip hop to breakbeat. Currently in the midst of producing their third album, the duo's latest workings saw them remould their collaboration with Danny Brown - 'A Black Brad Pitt'. Check that out in their Boiler Room below.
Prolonging the breakbeat master class is Mafia Kiss, a guise driven by award winning producer Paul Baron. His music lends itself to the Punks Music imprint founded by Stanton Warriors, an undisputed marker for crystal cut production that belongs in the upper echelons of it's genre.
Pyramid offer a varied indulgence of bass rooted beats via their unhinged melting pot of sounds that have attracted the attention Polydor and Black Hole amongst others, proving beyond doubt that they are a duo definitely worth watching out for. Grab your tickets here.
