Spinning the sounds of the Chicago underground and beyond, Honey Dijon and Marshall Jefferson lock in at Mantra Warehouse on New Year's Eve.
Having performed at the first House Of Wax get down, Marshall Jefferson is an assured choice to take on Big Ben's countdown duties. The influential figure was present during house music's infancy, channeling the genre to the UK alongside Frankie Knuckles in the late eighties.
No doubt he made an impression of some form on the second headliner Honey Dijon, a blazing contemporary of the genre who also comes from the Windy City. It was in New York where she made her name behind the decks, a city she shares with Berlin to call home.
Both international heavyweights in their own right, this is an irresistible fixture on the Manchester calendar in one of its key urban dance spaces.
