Returning to the iconic Magnet rave den, Hustle go off on a house and disco tip come Boxing Day with New York's king of the edit Danny Krivit taking over headline duties.
A contemporary of the likes of Larry Heard and Francois K, Krivit was a regular feature at the likes of Loft and Paradise Garage back in the day. His residency at Roxy brought to the attention of even more as he was one of the few white DJs that could scratch with the best of them - Grandmaster Flash and Afrika Bambaata took to calling him Danny Rock for his supreme turntablist skills.
His talents stretched beyond the DJ booth though, working alongside luminaries like James Brown and Gloria Gaynor, whilst his latest works continue to re-imagine the sounds of funk, soul and disco into club-ready head-nodders. Check out his live set from Djoon Paris above to see why Krivit, almost 40 years into his career, is still one of the highest regarded DJs around. Bag your tickets here.
