Ibiza Insider's Guide: Seb Zito

Seb Zito knows a thing or two about the White Isle, not surprising considering he's a key player for club night FUSE, an all-conquering brand which has partnered up with HYTE at Amnesia for cluster of dates this season. 

A valued and praised resident, along with fellow DJ Enzo Siragusa, the pair have helped define the FUSE sound and musical ethos, which has drawn in hundreds of techno and house lovers across the summer. Watch their gig at Sankeys Ibiza for FUSE below.

Ahead of his next HYTE dates, we asked Seb some key questions on the island to find out his tips for making the most out of your trip. Check out Seb Zito's upcoming gigs.

Where do you stay on the island when you're there and why?

Bon Sol Apartments.... hahahaha the early days of Fuse at Delano! I tend to stay with friends who live on the Island, far more homely and relaxing.

What makes Ibiza so special?

There's a certain energy the Island exudes, its so difficult to pin point why and how but everyone feels it. Hold on I know why... it's down to the magnetism of Es Vedra haha!

Where are your favourite places to eat?

For nice home made pasta Dulce Vita is perfect plus the staff there are real characters, never a dull moment. Fish Shack in Talamanca is pretty bad boy.

And the best places to go out?

Other then my own party (FUSE) it has to be Underground, by far the best for music.

Who do you think will be the star of the season this year?

Gotta big up my brother Enzo, he's worked so hard to get to this point and at the same time opened the doors for his friends. 

Where is the best place to watch the sun set and rise on the island?

Sun rising at the end of a party and sun setting from a boat. A few years back Dice threw a private boat party for his friends and myself and Ross played until the sun set, nothing could top that.

For someone about to come to Ibiza for the first time, what are the three things they must do before their time is out?

Check out Atlantis, Go DC10 during the day, watch the sun set.

What’s the island's greatest hidden secret?

If I told you then it wouldn't be much of a secret. Hire a car and go exploring, you'll find your own hidden secret.

What is your fondest memory of your time spent on the island? 

Ah man so many but the one that sticks was back in 2007. Myself and a few friends went out on one for those pedalos, fully loaded, music, sun. Was so simple but that day will remain in my heart for life.

And finally, what one bit of advice would you give someone hitting Ibiza for the first time?

Take loads of money.
