Ibiza Proms, Heather Small, and more to perform special cathedral shows

Some fantastic events have been added to Skiddle recently, which will see some huge names performing in some of the country’s most beautiful cathedrals. Tunde (Lighthouse Family), Lemar, Heather Small, Ibiza Proms, and Could Be Real bring music to some of England’s cathedrals from Friday 20th September to Friday 1st November 2024. Take a look at what’s on offer below. 

 

First up, Tunde of pop-soul band Lighthouse Family comes to Durham Cathedral on Friday 20th September, performing with a full band. The seated, wheelchair-accessible show will see Tunde perform a 75-minute set, following support acts who'll be announced soon. ''

Coming to the same venue on the following evening, British soul singer Lemar brings a special 70-minute set with a full band on the day after, the 21st of September. He’ll be performing some of his amazing songs such as ‘If There’s Any Justice’, ‘What About Love?’, and ‘50/50’. A seated show with a fully stocked bar, support for this one has yet to be announced too.

Next up, Could Be Real Tribute Festival comes to Manchester Cathedral on Friday 11th October, bringing some of the UK's best tribute acts to ABBA, Oasis, Queen, and Fleetwood Mac. So you can expect plenty of bangers! With tickets for just £25, you can enjoy some of the most important music of the past few decades in a stunning setting at an affordable price.

Friday 25th October will see Coventry Cathedral welcoming the legendary Heather Small, M People’s vocalist. With legendary tracks like ‘Proud’ and ‘You Need Love Like I Do’, it’s sure to be fantastic. The British singer comes equipped with a full band, flooding the venue with the sounds of soul for an hour. Support will be announced soon for this standing gig with a fully stocked bar.

The evening after Small’s takeover, Ibiza Proms takes over, bringing Ibiza classics performed by a 40-piece orchestra to the cathedral. Playing over two hours of Ibiza’s biggest and best anthems, there’ll also be some special guest performances alongside the orchestra, who’ll be announced soon. Join them to escape into the sounds of Ibiza from 6pm until 11pm.
