It has been reported in a local newspaper El Diario De Ibiza that all clubs on the party island will close at 6:30am next year due to new laws.
The president of the Island Council, Vicent Torres and five of Ibiza's mayors recently met to discuss an agreement on closing times in relation to clubs and music bars.
Superclubs and hot spots such as DC10, Space (watch footage from the closing above), Pacha, Amnesia and Sankeys Ibiza will all have to close at 6:30am and music bars will need to close by 5am.
Vicent Torres said that if any clubs willingly break the law then the authorities “will impose sanctions that are commensurate with the offence committed, especially repeat offenders”.
This was notably aimed at Amnesia, which closed late over the past summer on approximately 15 occasions including the closing party which went on for seven hours longer than scheduled.
