The first wave of artists has been confirmed for Lancaster's Highest Point festival, as it prepares to take over the stunning Williamson Park on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th May.
The announcement features the likes of disco royalty Sister Sledge, Scouse indie outfit The Zutons and Welsh rockers Feeder. Elsewhere, the Highest Point line up boasts a raft of the best established and emerging talent, including Grandmaster Flash, Alabama 3, Anna Calvi, Cabbage and Twisted Wheel. The next wave of artists, including the DJ line up, will be announced soon.
Now in its second year, the festival has introduced a camping area, as well as extended hours on the Friday and Saturday, with five stages of music from 11am-11pm, followed by a family day on Sunday 19th May.
