known for their outrageously macabre lyrical content, theatrical performances and killer clown get up, a nod to American serial killer John Wayne Gacy, the Insane Clown Posse have amassed an international following of millions since the early 90's, proving that there is most certainly a place for hardcore hip hop in the mainstream.
Born out of Detroit's subterranean rap scene, the group have been the at the centre of controversy throughout their rise to worldwide acclaim. From being banned from radio stations and the likes of MTV, to having records stripped from record shelves and the FBI categorising the group's hardcore 'Juggalo' and 'Juggalette' fan base as a 'hybrid gang', it's fair to say the group have suffered their fair share of prejudice and yet, the pair have remained at the top of the rap game.
Releasing over 15 studio albums, selling over 6.5 millions records in the U.S. alone, the group have been hugely successful. They've been nominated and won multiple awards, such as the Distinguished Achievement Award at 2011's Detroit Music Awards and embarked on numerous large scale tours, with more plans confirmed to return to Europe and the UK in 2020.
Insane Clown Posse will bring their 'Hysterical Hysteria Tour' to the UK this coming January, performing multiple at adtes at venues such as London's The Electric Ballroom, the Tramshed in Cardiff and the Engine Rooms in Southampton. The pair will be joined by Dutch hip hop crew Dope D.O.D.
