Following a packed Festival season including appearances at Global Gathering, SW4 and Kendal Calling (to name but a few), UK House music pioneers Jack Beats are gearing up for a full throttle Autumn with new music releases and their biggest live tour to date.
Earlier this month the band released Careless; the first in a series of mini-EPs featuring cameos from Diplo and Example no less. Of the mini album releases, Niall and Ben said: “We've been working on our album for a long time, and we've written a lot of diverse tracks which we feel work better split up over 2 mini albums. It feels a more contemporary and exciting approach to releasing dance music than the traditional album format - removing limitations, and allowing all the music to get proper attention.”
The full tracklisting for Careless is:
Careless ft. Takura
War ft. Diplo & Example
Epidemic ft. Dillon Francis
Hooligans
End of Love (re edit)
Fast Girls ft. MNEK
Bonus tracks:
Careless ft. Takura Instrumental
War ft. Diplo & Example Instrumental
Fast Girls ft. MNEK (Instrumental)
October sees the boys hit the road with their biggest live tour to date. Playing 5 dates across the UK, these shows will be the first opportunity fans will have had to witness the band’s full live production. Sets will be the usual high-octane mix of original material and pounding remixes, in JB's trademark electro tinged style. The band themselves have described the live set up as “screens, visuals, bells and whistles...”
UK Tour dates:
Thursday 11th October – Glasgow ABC1
Tuesday 16th October – Sheffield Tuesday Club 14th Birthday @ Octogan
Wednesday 17th October – Gorilla Manchester
Thursday 18th October – London XOYO
Friday 19th October – Bristol Motion
