Having been forced to cancel this weekend's event in Glasgow due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the organisers of Platform 18 street festival have pulled out all the stops to put together a virtual festival this Saturday boasting an enviable lineup.
Headlined by Jackmaster, Frazi.er, Maria Airam b2b Lunarplatz and festival founder Ivan Kutz, the online streamed event takes place from 4pm to 9pm on Saturday 4th July and will raise funds for the Scottish Association for Mental Health.
Ahead of the virtual festival, the Platform 18 team said: 'While this stream won't replace the main event, it is a great way to connect with likeminded ravers, from the safety of your own home, and hear some cutting edge electronic music by some masters of the form'.
Aside from the weekend's virtual festival, the team have wasted no time organising next year's Platform 18 event, with Richie Hawtin, Floorplan, Fjaak (live) and ANNA already confirmed for the unique street party, located within a subway station car park on West Street, in the Southside of the city.
You can watch the Platform 18 virtual festival on Skiddle's Facebook page from 4pm to 9pm on Saturday 4th July, and purchase tickets for next year's event (3-4 July) below.
