Jamie xx and Young Turks have opened a pop-up record shop called Good Times Store, located at 73 Kingsland Road in East London.
Similar to the New York branch that was open over summer, it will be filled with signed albums and some of Jamie xx's own releases. Good Times will also include vinyls from his favourite local record shop Kristina plus records he sampled for his Mercury Prize nominated album In Colour.
According to Jamie xx's Instagram post (check it out above) the store will also have "other assorted gems". A series of radio shows led by NTS will be recorded live at the store this week. The shop will be open from 12pm to 8pm until Thursday and then 12pm to 6pm on Friday.
Full schedule for the radio shows is below:
Monday 19th October – 6-8pm: Melon Magic w/Powell
Tuesday 20th October – 6-8pm: Sampha & Lil Silva
Wednesday 21st October – 6-8pm: Oneman & Tic
Thursday 22nd October – 4-6pm: Benji B & Tic
