Jeffrey Lewis, an American singer songwriter and comic-book artist graces the shore of Liverpool on the 30th July for the first time in over 3 years

An Anti Folk hero, his Songs often combine a depressing world-view with a hopeful message and sharp wit. Born in New York City and growing up on the Lower East Side of Manhattan Island his songs are also highly informed by his home surroundings, with songs namechecking places such as Williamsburg, the FDR Drive and the East River.

Jeffrey Lewis will be bringing along some old favourites to complete his set of new Junkyard tunes. The Static Gallery, home to Liverpool's best loved music magazine Bido Lito, fresh from it's recent refit will be the perfect setting for some of Liverpool's best up & coming talent and Jeff's inimitable style.

With special guests; Dire Wolfe, Dead Cities, Lou lu & the boy and The James Canty Band, the night takes place on Saturday 30th July with tickets priced at £8.
