25 year old Grammy Award winning vocalist Jess Glynne, best known for lending her voice to Clean Bandit's 'Rather Be' and recent number one smash 'Hold My Hand' (below) has had to pull out of a number of forthcoming festival appearances due to her undergoing vocal surgery next week.
"I’m heartbroken,” the 25 year old Grammy Award singer said, "I'm so sad to miss these shows and festivals with and for people I love but the doctors have told me I need the operation or I risk damaging my vocal cords. I'm scared but I'm in with the best specialist who tells me I'll be back singing better than before."
"I’d like to take this opportunity to say thanks to my fans who've been very supportive and gave me my first solo number one with 'Hold My Hand'.”
The festivals include Glastonbury, New Look Wireless, T in the Park, and Splendour, with now word yet from Brighton Pride, V Festival, and Fusion.
