Having enthralled us with their epic end of year parties which brought Denis Sulta, Dense & Pika and Hammer to various rave spaces across Derry, the Jika Jika! team continue their run of striking form with five parties seeing us through the spring and into the warmth of summer.
Sasha favourited Ejeca brings his devilish, floor-destroying techno to the Envy Bar as Jika Jika! throws an all day courtyard party for St. Paddy's Day. Having explored deep and melodic house with great authority, Ejeca has been delving into darker territory of late with tough as hell techno designed to shake you to the your core. Stephen Porter, Ryan Monaghan and John Morrison provide fine support.

The beginning of April marks the debut Jika Jika! appearance from one of the UK's best selectors Steve Lawler. His dark, rhythmic interpretation of tech house in its purest form has had him at the forefront of the underground since the turn of the century, while recent tracks on Knee Deep in Sound have cemented his might in the current climate. A true don. Bekuz residents GRRD and SHAY round off a blistering night at Sugar.

Easter Monday sees another staggering line up join Jika Jika! with both Bedrock mastermind John Digweed and Circus boss Yousef taking charge of Sugar. The two veterans of club music need little introduction, both fabled for their almost godlike abilites behind the decks - expect an unforgettable journey through tough, amped up house and hypnotic, tunneling techno.

Jika Jika entice another choice debutante in the shape of Drumcode's Sam Paganini. The Italian producer has risen through the ranks over the last few years, with face-melting, rib-rattling beats and deftly delivered moments of melodic bliss lifting his records above the majority. He'll be joined by label mate ZØE (hear them go back to back above) for a night of no nonsense techno.

The clubnight's love of lean, visceral techno shines through once more when they bring SCI+TEC boss and Deep Dish member Dubfire to the city on May 27th. Appearing over the Bank Holiday Weekend, expect the reduced, relentless techno of the American powerhouse to test the structural integrity of Sugar, while hotly tipped, Lithuanian tech sensation Samanta is also involved in the action.

And that's not all either as the summer will see a fully fledged Drumcode night descend on Ebrington Square, with Adam Beyer, Alan Fitzpatrick, Dense & Pika and Lauren Lo Sung amongst the firepower on offer on Sunday August 27th. Head here for Drumcode Derry tickets.
