The event is part of the Thirty One Songs project; which is a collection of Manchester-made music featuring rare and exclusive songs by established and emerging acts including Jim Noir, Elbow, Everything Everything, Delphic, I Am Kloot, Mr Scruff, Lonelady, and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. All proceeds from the record go to men's mental health charity CALM, of whom Skiddle is a big supporter.
Jim's contribution to the compilation is the track 'Spider Glider'. You can purchase the record from thirtyonesongs.com
On October 10th, Jim Noir will bring his trademark blend of psychedelic pop electronica to Preston's 53 Degrees for a special CALM fundraiser, with all proceeds from the event going into helping CALM in their mission to reduce suicide rates in young men in the UK.
