With 2016 marking 30 years since the release of Big Country's seminal record The Seer, the band headed out on tour to revel in its anniversary, delivering tracks off the album which peaked at number 2 in the UK album charts back in 1986.
With traditional Scottish themes and thundering alt rock influences, The Seer stands up as a fine piece of work, with lead singer Stuart Adamson displaying grim romanticism through his vocals and lyrics, while the record was also noted for its Kate Bush feature on the title track.
Big Country's successes on the live circuit last year with this album have urged them to continue on in the same vein, delivering not just The Seer, but also a heap of greatest hits, to audiences across the UK. With shows at the end of November and beginning of December, now is the time to snap up Big Country tickets below to witness true musical legends in action.
