October 28th will see Goodgreef celebrate 11 years in the game with a huge Halloween bash at Sankeys.
Watch a promo video by Jordan Suckley to get you in the mood and give you a little taster of what's to come:
Returning to the city where it all began 11 years ago, Goodgreef will shake up Sankeys with a fine bill of elite trance headlined by Ireland's John O'Callaghan.
John's high-energy trance mix coupled with a highly refined precision mixing style has seen him surge up through the DJ ranks. Spinning his first Radio 1 Essential Mix in the summer of 2008, the gifted 29 year old was one of only 4 trance DJs to do so during the year. Immediately following that, he made his debut in DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs rundown, arriving at No.60. In the 2009 chart he became one of the year's highest climbers, leaping 36 places into the world's top 25 (at number 24) and cemented his place as Ireland's foremost DJ and producer. In 2010 he held his own and remained in the Top 40 at number 33, in a year where house music exploded into the poll this was a great achievement to maintain his rank. John has achieved so much already but this is just the beginning of a trance legacy.
Joining the main room massacre and making his North West debut is award-winning DJ, producer, and label manager Hardwell. At the tender age of 23, Hardwell is step by step gradually becoming a leading figure amongst the younger generation of DJs. Having captured Tiesto's eye and gained his firm support, Hardwell has become a regular feature on the Monday night bill at Privelege in Ibiza this summer.
Finally, supporting them in the musical onslaught will be the legend of advanced tech-trance Dutch DJ/producer Marcel Woods; Romanian born DJ Claudia Cazacu, young multi-talented future stars of the scene Jordan Suckley and Ben Gold; and Goodgreef favourite Matt Everson.
Taking over Spektrum with a debauchery of deadly tech-trance beats will be James Rigby (Rong); Liam Wilson (Rong /Goodgreef); Steff Smith and Gemma Furbank (Audio Dolls); plus more. Finally, busting out the house beats in the bar and showcasing new and up-and-coming talent will be the Goodgreef haunted house party.
So, prepare for dance floor decapitation this Halloween, as GG celebrate their 11th birthday at Sankeys.
