The team behind London electronic music festival Junction 2 have announced plans to host a 'one-off' online and radio event on Saturday 6th June 2020 (4pm to 10pm) - the date that the festival should be taking place in Boston Manor Park.

Organisers say they will attempt to 'go beyond the usual DJ streams' by creating a 'digital retreat' and 'interactive experience' by way of a 'central 3D hub' on their website. There will be three 'stages', each with their own 'visuals, vibe and aesthetic'.

The line-up for the virtual summer event - organised by promoters LWE - is yet to be revealed, but we're told to expect exclusive sets from DJs that were either to set to appear at this year's event, or DJs who have performed at J2 in the past. Acts booked for this year included Seth Troxler, Eclair Fifi, DJ Koze, Four Tet, Adam Beyer and Honey Dijon.

In addition to prize giveaways and merchandise, Junction 2 will also be using the opportunity to raise funds for charities Care Workers Charity, Refuge, The Outside Project and Trussell Trust foodbanks.
