Lady Windermere's Fan

The Royal Exchange Theatre, until June 23rd

For their Fin De Siecle production this year, The Royal Exchange return to the work of the ever popular Oscar Wilde. Lady Windermere's Fan was the literary icon's first masterpiece, and is a comic thriller packed full of the trademark Wilde wit, pace and memorable one-liners.  

The Rise and Fall of Little Voice 

Octagon Theatre Bolton, until June 23rd

Jim Cartwright's much loved play about a young girl with an extraordinary musical gift is being performed in the playwright's home town of Bolton until June 23rd. Starring Katie Elin-Salt in the lead role, Little Voice is a moving, heartwarming comedy by one of the region's leading writers. 

Blood Brothers 

Manchester Opera House, June 18th - 23rd

Willy Russell's world famous musical tells the captivating and moving tale of twins who, separated at birth, grow up on opposite sides of the tracks, only to meet again with tragic consequences. Starring Marti Pellow & Maureen Nolan.

Starlight Express

The Lowry, June 19th - 30th

Combining a futuristic tale about love and hope in the face of adversity with an electrifying sound track, dazzling sets and costumes, some of Andrew Lloyd Webber's most memorable musical hits and extraordinary non stop roller-choreography by TV's favourite dance show judge Arlene Phillips, Starlight Express is one of the most exciting an unique musicals ever to hit the stage.  

Manchester Lines 

The Library Theatre, June 12th - July 7th

Staged high on the fifth floor of Number One, First Street, Manchester Lines is the most recent of the Library Theatre Company’s intimate and dynamic ‘one chance to see’ theatre experiences. In a lost property room in central Manchester, en route somewhere, six people relate their own personal journeys. Manchester Lines tells stories, reveals fragments of lifelines and explores the Lost Property of the soul.
