Kamasi Washington is the hottest name in jazz at the moment, captivating audiences with his forward-thinking stylings.
The saxophone virtuoso more recently played on Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp A Butterfly, and released a debut album of his own titled The Epic (listen to a track from that below).
Aside from a marquee Glastonbury performance, he brings along his 'cosmic soul fusion outfit' to four venues across the UK - offering a contemporary and visionary take on the classic jazz band.
One of those musicians in the collective is Thundercat, who provided a helping hand to deliver Kamasi's three hour long debut of heady jazz sounds which he will sweep the UK with in June.
Uk tour dates below:
Glasgow - QMU, Monday 27th June
Manchester - Academy 2, Tuesday 28th June
Birmingham- Institute 2, Wednesday 29th June
Bristol - Anson Rooms, Thursday 30th June
